Using Essential Oils for Pain - Recipes Part 2

I thought I should share a couple of my favorite recipes/

Muscle aches

Sweet Almond oil: 1 cup
Black pepper essential oil: 12 drops
Bay or marjoram essential oil: 6 drops
Juniper essential oil: 6 drops
Ginger essential oils: 6 drops

Blend all the oils together and use as a massage oil.

Rheumatic and Muscular Pains Formula

Chamomile essential oil: 12 drops
Juniper essential oil: 12 drops
Marjoram essential oil: 12 drops
Rosemary essential oils: 12 drops
Ginger tincture: 4 oz

Blend the essential oils with the tincture. You can prepare fresh ginger tincture at home by placing one ounce of fresh or two ounces of dried ginger into one pint of vodka or apple cider vinegar and leaving it to soak for a couple of weeks before straining it off. Remember to give the tincture a good shake every day and make sure that the ginger is always covered by the liquid. Apply to painful areas morning and night, and more often if necessary.
